PANTOMIME SEASON

If you are thinking of watching a panto this Christmas, we are delighted to say that Sienna Wallis will be appearing in Cinderella at Buxton Opera House, and Chloe Gilbert in Jack and the Beanstalk at the Pomegranate Theatre in Chesterfield. If you would like details of their performance dates please contact Claire as the children work in teams so do not perform at every show. Well done girls, we can't wait to watch you both!

On Sunday 3 November we have an exciting workshop brought to you by the critically acclaimed Family Theatre Company in partnership with the Claire Dobinson School of Dancing!

West end performers Bethan Nash (a former pupil of Claire's, currently performing alongside Brian Blessed in 'Towards Zero' at The Mill at Sonning) and Rachel Moran (Matilda West End) are delighted to be returning to run a Greatest Showman workshop, following the success of their Matilda workshop in the Spring.

YOGA WORKSHOP

On Saturday 2 November Bethan Nash will be running a special 'Relax and Re-energise' Yoga Workshop at the Claire Dobinson School of Dancing.

CARE TO DANCE
Fortnighly from 21 October | 10:30 - 11:30

We are delighted to announce the return of our Care to Dance project, for those living with dementia and other health conditions affecting welbeing. The sessions are facilitated by Independent Occupational Therapist Mary Derrick, in partnership with the Claire Dobinson School of Dancing. They provide therapeutic and creative access to dance and music, stimulating cognitive skills, improving health wellbeing and self-esteem, and bringing happiness and joy.

SWAN LAKE BALLET MASTERCLASS

We are delighted to be hosting an extra-special Swan Lake Ballet Masterclass this October!

The Swan Lake Ballet Masterclass is a fabulous opportunity to take a classical ballet lesson with the brilliant Viki Westall-Eyre, followed by the chance to learn some of the repertoire from Swan Lake. The picture on the left shows Viki teaching at the Northern Ballet Academy.

On Wednesday 24th April, we are holding a morning of dance for children aged 4 and above. With sessions of ballet, gymnastic dance and freestyle modern, the morning will be great fun for all levels - so is a great opportunity to try something new.

NEW GYMNASTIC DANCE CLASS - February 2019
New Gymnastic Dance Class

We have a new Gymnastic Dance class starting after half term, for beginners age 3½ - 5 years. The new classes will be held on Tuesdays from 26th Feb onwards, from 16:45-17:15.

Classes for older children are available on Mondays - see the timetable for details.


SUPERB EXAM RESULTS - January 2019

Huge congratulations to all the students who took examinations in the November and December 2018 sessions. We are delighted to announce that every candidate passed with either Merit or Distinction.
Particular congratulations go to Daisy, Ben, Charlotte, Katie H and Katie R, our Advanced One Candidates, some of whom are pictured here warming up for their class. All 5 were awarded a Distinction! These are truly exceptional results and Claire is extremely proud.
